Castelvenere and Guardia Sanframondi
You are in one of the lands that has been carefully cultivating its grapes for centuries, obtaining precious nectar such as Falanghina and Aglianico. Passing through Castelvenere (one of the most populated towns in Italy) and after having tasted the typical "scarpella vennerese" accompanied by the local "Camaiola", you reach Guardia Sanframondi, a characteristic village dominated by the imposing castle and chosen by many foreigners as a place of residence.
These are just some of the Sanniti villages recognised as European Wine Capital 2019. Moreover, Guardia Sanframondi becomes a pilgrimage destination during the seven-year rites in August, with people arriving from all over the world.
